This is an online resource dedicated to providing information and support to people fighting addiction and substance use disorders.

Intimate partner violence (IPV) and addiction are interrelated. Multiple studies have proven that substance misuse significantly increases the chance of violence in the home and that many victims may use substances to cope with the abuse.

They recently published an educational guide to help the public understand the link between domestic violence & addiction where we discuss substance misuse issues in victims and perpetrators of IPV/DV and highlight where to find help: Substance Abuse and Domestic Violence: A Volatile Mix
